Nice job, Anne. Now think about how you might use this tool in your class to promote literacy. Check Krsyta's and Michelle's blog posts about Voki from spring 2012 class, if you can find those posts. Krysta used it for her students to write from the point of view of a character in Charolette's Web. Good activity for students to understand character and point of view when studying a work of literature.
I need to give these a try! They can be used for simple things like wishing the kids a happy birthday and give them directions for a project. It can also be used for those shy kids who don't like to speak in front of the whole class - retell a story, explain how they solved a math problem, discussion about a book, fact/opinion, the ways to use this are endless!
Diana I thought it was pretty cool and could definitely see teachers using it within their classrooms in all sorts of ways!! I had been wanting to try it and I am glad I did!!!
