Voice Threads

WOW!!  This whole idea might be the craziest.  Wasn't sure what this all meant but stumbled upon this Voice Thread website, which gave a great tutorial to me!  The idea of using this kind of makes me think of a Wiki except that you have have this conversation at present time!!  What a great way to do a group project!!!

  1. I am a fan of VoiceThread and like the idea that you can not only write comments but also record them or even video record them. It is a great tool for collaboration and also appeals to visual learners. I highly recommend it. I have created some blog posts about it, and I have used it with classes. Some students in my classes have created VoiceThread with their students. Although using a microphone helps for the students to record their comments, if one does not have a microphone, typing the comments is also good. The site works well for learners of all ages, from kindergarten right through to college.

Another neat feature is that students in classes at different locations can collaborate through a VoiceThread. Scott has suggested we do that with his students in Iowa. Just not sure if we will have time in our course. There is just so many projects to work on, and don't want to overwhelm people.

    Thanks for posting this post.
